Visamo Kids is a shelter home established in 2002 and aims to help children grow as confident human beings empowering them with opportunities to stand as equals in the society. We are an Ahmedabad based NGO, working towards providing free education to poor children coming from underprivileged(under poverty line) families from all over Gujarat.The aim of education is not only to impart knowledge but also build the abilities to do so, to think and to acquire habits, skills and attitude which characterizes an individual. The world’s most vulnerable children from disadvantaged communities are more likely to miss out on school, especially young girls. Increasing access to education can improve the overall health of a society, contribute towards the growth in economies, reduce the drudgery and combat problems like climate change and existing social evils. Yet in many developing countries, children’s access to education is limited by numerous socio economic factors.
Visamo Kids Foundation believes that by ensuring access to quality education in a safe and secured environment with all amenable facilities under appropriate mentorship, we can help empower lives and create responsible citizens of the nation.
